Turning the Berlin underground into a stage

I met with dancer Stephanie Zaharova at station Neukölln for a live photoshoot experience. She performed a public freestyle piece for the camera, reacting to her surroundings live while commuters buzzed by. On the platform, onlookers stood agape silently taking her in, or running past ignoring the scene in their rush. Going up a level, a band playing in the station struck up a lively song cheering her on. The band & dancer act became a duet of sorts when one of the players tried to bust a move and couldn’t seem to get back up. His effort was appreciated by onlookers.
When in doubt, dance, especially for the amusement of those taking the train.
